Huge success for NDT Edfringe shows

We're delighted that NDT supported shows received awards, critical acclaim and played to sold-out audiences this Edinburgh Festival.
Breach Theatre, an NDT Emerging Company 2016, are amongst the huge successes returning to New Diorama from the Edinburgh Fringe having won a prestigious Fringe First for TANK. This new show, a follow up to their Total-Theatre award winning THE BEANFIELD, consistently sold-out and was critically acclaimed across the board.

TRAVESTY, the debut play by Edinburgh Comedy Award Nominee Liam Williams, had to programme additional shows throughout the month due to high demand for tickets, and returns to NDT for one week only from September 6.

DON'T WAKE THE DAMP, the brilliant new play from award-winners Kill The Beast was a roaring sci-fi success, winning a Stage Edinburgh Award and selling out with rave reviews.

Smoke & Oakum, another NDT Emerging Company 2016, received brilliant reviews for Oli Forsyth's new play, HAPPY DAVE. The show returns to New Diorama on 20 September for a limited run.

The Pretend Men, recipients of NDT's cash flow fund, sold out their huge hit POLICE COPS night after night to large crowds, to become one of the biggest hits of the fringe for the second year running.
NDT Graduate Emerging company 2016/17 CLOWN FUNERAL had a brilliant festival with their show THE MURDERER, which was nominated for an NSDF Edinburgh Award with a commendation for Direction from Sam George.
In Bed With My Brother, an NDT 2015/16 Graduate Emerging Company had a huge hit with WE ARE IAN, nomintated for a Total Theatre Award for Best Emerging Company, selling out shows and receiving brilliant ★★★★★ reviews.
