Incoming Festival 2017 Line-Up Announced
3 May 2017
The full line-up of INCOMING Festival 2017 has now been announced – 20 shows across 10 days from all around the UK.
Every year the line-up at INCOMING Festival gets better and better. For 2016, New Diorama & A Younger Theatre are presenting our greatest programme to date: full of the best, most exciting early-career theatre companies which have presented work over the past twelve months.
Increasingly, INCOMING Festival is the place to see the best new work first. Previous shows that have premiered at INCOMING have gone on to win Fringe Firsts, Peter Brook Awards and even transferred internationally, including recently to Off-Broadway.
And with every ticket still only £5, INCOMING remains a theatre festival that everyone can enjoy.
The line-up this year promises to be the most invigorating yet.
INCOMING is welcoming three direct transfers from National Student Drama Festival: Theatre 42’s NOTHING IS COMING, THE PIXELS ARE HUGE (winner of the award for Outstanding Achievement in Design), Pub Corner Poet’s SAD LITTLE MAN (NSDF Judges Commendation for Playwriting), Poor Michelle’s THICK SKIN (winner of the Buzz Goodbody Director award, Samuel French New Play Award and Best Male performance) and Emergency Chorus’s CELEBRATION (winner of the Fest Goers Award and Sunday Times Playwriting Award).
Alongside brand new companies, INCOMING Festival 2017 sees us welcoming back some theatre companies already popular with audiences, including The Sleeping Trees, Plasticine Men and The Letter Room.
A truly national festival, INCOMING 2017 is bringing companies from all across the UK to Central London, including groups from Exeter, Glasgow, Brighton, Newcastle, Hull, the West Midlands and Coventry.
