The Garden is designed for people with dementia and their carers, but welcomes anyone who wants to find out how the arts can improve the lives of people living with dementia.
The Garden was developed to tour to residential care homes, and now this innovative installation is brought to a public venue for the first time in England.
Wednesday 2 & Thursday 3 @ 11:00 & 14:00 – Free performances for people with dementia and their carers.
Thursday 3 @ 19:00 – “The Arts & Dementia: Reminiscence or the present?” open evening and panel discussion exploring different approaches to working artistically with people with dementia.
Friday 4 @ 16:00-20:00 Drop-in and experience the installation, join us for drinks.
Saturday 5 @ 10:30-17:00 Masterclass: participatory arts practice / introduction to working with people with dementia.
