A Younger Theatre and New Diorama are delighted to announce the full line-up of companies that will be performing as part of the second INCOMING Festival .
Programmed from across the country, INCOMING Festival celebrates the very best work being made by the most talented emerging theatre companies in the UK today.
With all tickets just £5 , audiences at INCOMING Festival will get a chance to enjoy 23 theatre companies presenting a mix of outstanding work from the last year – such as On The Run’s So It Goes (★★★★★ “An extraordinary debut” The Times) and Fellswoop’s Ablutions (★★★★★ The Skinny) alongside a selection of high profile world premieres – such as a first chance to see new shows from Kandinsky (★★★★★ The Independent) with Dog Show and Curious Directive (“a bright young company” The Guardian) with the first outing of Bellwether .
INCOMING Festival has partnered with the Peter Brook Award s to further celebrate the achievements of early-career theatre companies from across the UK with the formation of the Peter Brook Festival Award . Each INCOMING festival , the three companies presenting the best shows, chosen by our panel, are shortlisted and the winner announced at the main Peter Brook Award ceremony at the National Theatre Studio .
The 2014 winners of the Peter Brook Festival Award were the comic theatre company Kill The Beast with He Had Hairy Hands (who, after selling-out both shows at INCOMING , went on to be nominated at the Manchester Theatre Awards). They will return with the production at INCOMING 2015 .
