New Diorama unveil brand new garden rehearsal studio space , named after twice-Camden Mayor, Heather Johnson , built with support from The Theatres' Trust.
With the demand on our main space ever increasing, the team at New Diorama have been devising ways of increasing the number of artists and community groups that can we accommodate every day at the theatre. As a result of a grant from the Theatres' Trust , we're proud to be launching this fully accessible community and rehearsal studio in our garden.
After some serious blood, sweat, tears - and approximately nine tonnes of shifted soil - we opened the Heather Johnson Studio this week, named in acknowledgment to the incredible support that Councillor Heather Johnson has shown NDT since we first opened 6 years ago.
The Studio is already booked up for the next six months and is already demonstrating how vital a resource it is for our supported artists and community groups. With thanks to all those who helped us along the way - especially everyone who helped shovel soil - we couldn't have done it without you!
