New Diorama wins the Innovation Award at The Stage Awards

New Diorama Theatre were recipients of the Innovation Award at the 2019 Stage Awards, in recognition of our new programming model.

We are incredibly proud to have been given the Stage's Innovation Award 2019, presented to us in recognition of our pioneering, new programming model.

"New Diorama continued to prove itself vital to the development of artists and companies...rewrtiting its programming model to create a bold new strategy, with the intention of making a more profound contribution to the companies it enagages with". The Stage

This award is for all of the artists that we work with, the amazing companies that we support and who continue to deliver with truly exceptional work and unrelenting passion for the theatre they create. We are proud to support each and every one of you.

New Diorama's Artistic and Executive Director, David Byrne said:

"This programming model was a huge risk for us as an organistaion, so for that to be recognised for it within the industry is really brilliant, we've learned in the past that our industry follows really great ideas, but sometimes it just takes one organisation to take that leap, to go there first. I'm delighted it was us."
