The temperature on Earth drops to -210C in precisely 4 minutes and 17 seconds, which also happens to be the exact time it takes to sing Rock DJ. A year later, locked inside the Barnsley Metrodome, a group of people survive the apocalypse by growing food in the old bowling alley, recycling water from the swimming pools and praying at the altar of their lord and saviour: Robbie Williams.
The Escapologists have built their society on a knife edge and the delicate balance is held by their fanatical founding board members, and correspondence to the outside through the karaoke machine turned radio.
They have found harmony through their new religion of the world’s most handsome man, but within the centre of the Metrodome is a secret set to bring down the walls of their new society; and a box sent from the divine Robbie Williams waiting to be opened that could save them all.
