About
We have sadly had to cancel Incoming Festival this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and are delighted to be able to present work_from_home as an entirely free, online theatrical experience.
Before Coronavirus, we were working all the time, we were worried about the gig economy and burnout, and now everything’s stopped. Now everyone is working on their sourdough starters, trying to be productive, feeling scared, trying to get going again.
work_from_home is an interactive play performed entirely by participants on a Zoom call, about when things stop working. It is an entirely new, digital, interactive adaptation of Nathan Ellis’ play work.txt, which was nominated for an Innovation Award at VAULT Festival 2020.
You will log on, you will do nothing, you will contribute, you will be essential.
Presented by New Diorama Theatre and Incoming Festival, this production is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
CAPTIONING
On Wednesday 1 July the 8.30pm performance will be captioned by our regular captioner Alex Romeo from Stagetext. To view the captions select the 'CC' button on Zoom.
