Assistant Stage Manager - For Black Boys
We're looking for an ASM to support our upcoming production of For Black Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When The Hue Gets Too Heavy.
Dates: 27 Sep - 6 Nov 2021. (Rehearsal week 27 Sep - 3 Oct / Tech week 4-11 Oct / performances 12 Oct - 6 Nov).
Pay: £454.50 per week (plus holiday pay).
Who are we looking for? This is an ideal early-career opportunity for someone in stage management or theatre production. We're particularly interested in applicants from Black and Global Majority backgrounds, who are currently underrepresented in our backstage teams.
What's the job? Supporting rehearsals and tech, and then based backstage during performances, helping with the smooth running of the show. Duties will include set-up, managing props and costume including laundry, and working with the Company Stage Manager to support company wellbeing.
